VAT Exemption
As a general rule, a 15 per cent value added tax, or VAT, is paid on every item that is purchased within the UK. However, certains products that are designed or modified solely for use by people with a disability can be exempt from VAT if purchased by someone who is medically disabled or have a long term illness. Customers do not have to be registered disabled to claim relief but they will have to declare how they qualify on the VAT declaration form - glaucoma, MS etc.
ALL the products on our website are VAT exempt if purchased by a qualifying person.
To get your VAT exemption just follow the 2 easy steps below:
Step 1 - VAT exemption form
The form is a simple declaration - it does not need a doctor's signature or certificate.
Just click here to open a new window and fill out our online form. Please make sure you have "pop ups enabled" first.
You can also obtain this form by calling our Customer Service department on 01926 470450.

Step 2 - Place your order
Locate the products you would like to buy and place them in the shopping basket. You will be required to pay the VAT at first. However, we will refund the VAT paid as soon as we recieve your completed VAT exemption form.
Please note that we cannot sell products at a VAT free rate without receiving a VAT exemption form. If you do not send us the VAT exemption form, we are obliged to charge VAT at a later date.
If you have sent us a VAT exemption form in the past, you will not need to supply us with an additional one.
