The VB98 coach has no push-pull equipment so can be used as a trailer car. The VT98 railcar would pull into a station then disconnect from the VB98 and run around to the other end before the train can depart in the opposite direction - this operation can be easily achieved with the Lenz models as they have DCC uncoupling. The VB98 coach can also form the middle car between a VT98 and a VS98, in this case the train can operate as a push-pull unit.
