Where are your beds made?

Our beds are all made right here in the UK at a small traditional forge.

Can I choose any bed style in any size ?

Yes, all of the bed styles are available in Single, Double, King or Super King sizes. We can also make any bed to any size of your choosing, bespoke to you for only £75 more!

How can I pay for my new bed ?

You can use a Credit or Debit card using the secure Google Checkout option or you may select cheque or bank transfer.

How long is delivery time?

Delivery is usually between 4 and 6 weeks depending on where you live.

What is your delivery charge ?

Our standard delivery charge is £45 and that includes installation of your bed by our own delivery team. We do not use couriers to reduce packaging and damages.

Can I specify a delivery date ?

Although you cannot specify an exact date of delivery (due to number of orders fluctuating constantly), we will try to deliver as close to your chosen date as possible. We tend to deliver at weekends to make it easier for our customers with work commitments etc.

Do you give a delivery time ?

A few days before your delivery date, we will give you a 2 to 3 hour 'window' in which we will try to deliver. This is obviously subject to traffic conditions etc.

Will you deliver to Jersey, Isle of Mann or Isle of Wight ?

We can only deliver to UK mainland ourselves as we do not use a courier. We will however, deliver to a transport company who will complete the delivery on your behalf. This is subject to additional delivery charges but we have done this before and can help with delivery companies.

Do you hold lots of stock ?

We do not hold any stock as all beds are made to order just for you. Due to the number of combinations of Style, Size and Colour available, we could not possible keep everything 'off the shelf'.

Are your beds sturdy and solid ?

Our beds are extremely sturdy as they are constructed from mainly solid bar and solid metal side rails. With a simple construction to keep everything in it's place.

Are your beds easy to assemble ?

Very easy!. In fact you do not need to worry, as we assemble all of the beds in the room of your choice when we deliver to you. If you do need to move the bed at a later date, there are only a few bolts to undo.

I've heard that some Iron beds can squeak and rattle. Is this true ?

Some older beds and mass produced new beds can shake and rattle. This is due to a complicated construction and inferior masterials like aluminium tubing. This means the bed has very little weight and can easily work loose. Our beds are heavy and use a simple method of construction to avoid this.

Do I have to have Brass finials on my bed ? (Specific styles)

No, if you would like the finials on your bed to be the same colour, then this is not a problem and comes with no extra charge.

Can I cancel my order ?

Unfortunately as all of the beds are made to order, once an order has been placed, it is not possible to cancel.
