CarbMate is so easy to use…
• Connect CarbMate to a charged battery or 12Vdc source using the cord-set provided.
• Adjust the ZERO-adjust knob until the central LED of the row of 9 LEDs is indicating.
• Connect CarbMate’s rubber hoses to the throttle valve inlet ports.
• Start the engine and bring it to running temperature at the correct idle speed.
• Set the RESOLUTION knob to the 2 cm Hg position and adjust the butterflies so as to
balance the 2 channels.
• Progressively sharpen the RESOLUTION to 0,5cm Hg while adjusting the butterflies, for
a perfect result.
3 cylinders ? Adjust the 3rd cylinder to the second one, and then to the first one (ref.).
4 or 6 cylinders ? Adjust the remaining pair(s) between them, then to the 1st carb. (ref.).
