We feel that it is necessary to have an appreciation and have operated one of these engines prior to attending the course to get the maximum benefit from it. We only deal with permit aircraft engines and as a consequence the course is based on the more relaxed requirements that permit aircraft fly under.
The course has both presentation and workshop based elements. The workshop based elements are very much hands-on and all participants are expected to get involved (please wear suitable clothing for working in).
The course is backed up by telephone support for participants if they encounter problems whilst working in the field. Please be aware however that telephone support is on a ring-back basis and you may have to wait until our Engineer is available to speak with you.
Whilst we are satisfied (from experience and participant feedback) that our courses are sufficient for most participants purposes, the courses do not meet the Rotax Requirements for “Independent Rotax Maintenance Technician” qualification. At present we do not have the resources or course materials to run such courses, which are lecture theatre based, over a much longer duration, and require re-certification bi-annually.
An invoice will be sent approximately 8 weeks in advance of the course date. Full payment is due at least 4 weeks in advance of the course date.
If we do not receive sufficient bookings for the course to be run economically, we will send a cancellation notice in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the course date.
All of our terms & conditions are available on our website at www.conairsports.co.uk, we would like to draw your attention to the additional Terms & Conditions for Training or Service Courses.
