Bell Collars
H&L "update" an 18th century design

Leading pug breeder Elaine Arnold of Snugglepugs asked us to create a modern take on the traditional bell collars which pugs have worn since the 18th Century.  In our new version, masses of tiny bells and sparking Swarovski crystals are handsewn onto the supple calf leather collar. The bells have a delicate ‘silvery‘ jangle and look splendid on any breed of dog.... large or small.  See the gorgeous Tia below and we are hoping to see pics soon of a clients Weimeraner in Turquoise..... heaven!   
 
Or choose the more traditional 'big bells'.   Both Dresden and Meissen made highly collectable porcelain pug figures featuring these classic bell collars, which we have recreated here. Our addition is a sparkling Swarovski heart set between each of the large bells...and the overall effect is magical.   PS: Pugs seem to really love the tinkling of the bells!  Then there are the funkier Enamel bell option - WONDERFUL on Orange.  Or a more glistening Silver and Gold varied size bell option................  As usual with H&L too many to choose from! 

Note:  All collars above size 3 are reinforced with metal eyelets to protect the supple calf leather from enthusiastic pullers!
Sizes ½ and 1 are lightweight collars (with half buckles), and are specially designed for mini breeds such as Chihuahuas. Small terriers etc. are better suited by our ‘Slim 5/8” full buckle’ design which would be a bespoke option. We have selected  "standard" widths but you can choose any width you prefer to suit your dog - see our Bespoke Option.
