£15 of the proceeds from the sale of these collars goes straight to Battersea Dogs Home. Each collar comes with a Battersea Dogs & Cats Home ID Tag as well as a Holly&Lil enamel heart.
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has sheltered and cared for over 3 million dogs and cats since it was founded in 1860 and currently cares for over 12,000 animals a year. The Home receives no government funding so your support really does make a difference.
The average dog spends just 23 days in the Home but some have been so mentally and physically scarred by their previous experiences that they take a lot longer to rehome. That is why the care they receive and their surroundings are so important. Battersea aims to give them the best chance of a brand new start in life. The unique rehabilitation unit gives the difficult and traumatised animals a second chance to find a good home and the hard working veterinary department is dedicated to helping the sick back on the road to recovery.
If you wish to visit a dog or cat, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is open Monday to Friday 1pm to 4pm, weekends and Bank Holidays 10.30am to 4pm. If you would like to make a donation to the Home there are lots of ways you can: a one-off donation online or by post, or a regular gift by direct debit or through Give As You Earn. Whichever way you choose please visit www.dogshome.org

Caine is one of the dogs currently looking for a home.
Do think if you can help him? He is a particular favourite of ours. His owner , who worked for Battersea for many years, sadly died from a heart attack recently and Caine, his soulmate, is lost without him .

He is very charming with a nice calm nature. He spends his day in the office with a number of staff and different dogs. He will need an owner with no children and experience with large dogs , able to provide him with a secure stable home. If you feel you are able to offer Caine a good home please contact Carly Mills at Battersea on 0207 627 9233 or by email on c.mills@dogshome.org
