A bundle of living willow rods that are 4 to 6 feet long. The variety is Salix viminalis (Osier) and there are a minimum of 200 rods in each bundle. These are short thin willow whips. Osier is a fast growing shrub willow.
The best time to plant living willow is in the winter.
