This is a bundle of Salix daphnoides which has been allowed to grow for two years. The rods are approximately 9' long and there are a minimum of 30 rods in a bundle.
This variety of willow has striking purple rods which get a silvery bloom on them in the winter. It is a perfect variety if you want some winter colour and it has very attractive catkins.
